What is Fabric Painting?
Fabric painting is a technique of applying paint to fabric. It’s an ancient art form that has been around for thousands of years and was used by the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Chinese, Japanese, Native Americans, and many other cultures.
Fabric painting involves taking a piece of fabric and dipping it into a mixture of pigment (paint) and water. Then you use brushes, sponges, fingers, or any other tool to apply the mixture onto the fabric. This process can be repeated several times until you get the desired effect.
How to wash Hand Painted fabric?
The hand-painted fabric should be washed separately from regular clothing. Washing them together will cause the dye to run and bleed. To clean the fabric, first, remove the tags and labels. Wash the fabric with cold water and detergent. Use a soft brush or sponge to gently rub off the excess dirt. Do not wring the fabric.
After washing, hang the item up to dry. If possible, do not put the hand-painted items near heat sources such as radiators, ovens, or stoves. Heat can fade the color of the fabric.
Why buy Hand-Painted fabric?
When buying hand-painted fabric, look for vibrant colors, patterns, and details. These characteristics make the product unique and special. Especially our White Cotton Salwar Suit. You may find these qualities in a variety of different fabrics. But if you want something truly one-of-a-kind, then choose the hand-painted fabric.
